Law enforcement is going digital in a major way. Digital video and audio support is a "must" in an era where surveillance of large areas–shopping centers, sports arenas, ferry landings and more–are essential to public safety and security.

Stealth's mission is to provide state-of-the-art digital media technologies that improve the surveillance and security capabilities of law enforcement at greatly reduced costs. While many vendors are slow to adapt to emerging public safety threats, Stealth Imaging is building products to satisfy those demands and develop newer and better tools for emerging safety and security needs of our communities.

Our Stealth Encoder product family and digital video management software are critical components of any law enforcement system. We are building our encoder technology into specific market products that improve upon the current vendor capabilities. The Stealth H.264 Encoder and real-time Video Analytics (object, shape and motion detection) software will be part of all law enforcement products installed in command centers, individual desktop computers, fixed street locations, laptops and portables installed in police vehicles, and rolling command centers.

Here are a few examples of how Stealth products support law enforcement activities:
  • Video interrogations - Public laws throughout the United State are requiring police to record interrogations of suspects and interviews with victims. Our technology and software are critical components to fulfilling this need.
  • In-car police evidence systems - Police cars are going to digital video to produce crisp, clear records of roadside stops and arrests. Our in-car video systems record in high quality full motion video with stereo audio and can support any number of cameras in the car as long as storage is available. In-car video can be digitally transmitted back to headquarters through city-wide mesh networks or when the cruiser returns to the depot.
  • City-wide surveillance cameras - Embedding our technology in cameras allows for an autonomous or hidden video to recognize faces in a crowd, spot objects left behind or activity out of the ordinary, with a capability to report this information to the proper authorities. In effect, Stealth Imaging puts more police on the street.
  • Crime-scene photography and videography - Crime scene video is essential to investigations, gathering evidence and prosecuting cases in court. The collection and protection of this material is critical to a free society. Our products capture crime scene data securely with verification that the image or video been tampered with, manipulated or changed.
In addition, Stealth's video management software will provide the means for law enforcement to protect the video and audio evidence in a secure archive for later evidentiary proceedings. Our team has worked with local and federal law enforcement agencies for years and understands how to support their specific requirements.
